Medieval Events

There is no fixed 'menu' of what you can, and cannot have for medieval events. A programme which is perfect for one person would be completely wrong for another. It is a question of looking at the whole event, from the arrival of the first guest to the departure of the last and making sure that everything flows smoothly. There will need to be punctuation - a mix of high points mixed with quieter periods, even some breaks to add contrast (and let the performers recover!) An event can be so much more than just a couple of performers in tights plinking away gently in the background - although that is one option!

The style of medieval events will depend on the location, number of guests, timings, how formal or not you would like the proceedings to be and, of course, your budget. Whilst it would be rather nice to have knights in full armour jousting in the background, displays of falconry and archery competing with fire eaters and fortune tellers, all to the accompaniment of a full band of minstrels, not everyone has pockets that deep.

Just tell us your main priorities and give as much background information as possible. We can work together to fine tune the best balance of performers and skills. It can be just as bad for an event to have too many performers on site as not having enough. Please, do take advantage of our experience.

There are some examples below of types of events we have performed at in the past, in case they help as a guideline but please don't hesitate to contact us. for more details and information.
