Punch and Judy

It is interesting how keen adults can be to have a Punch and Judy show, 'just for the children, you understand', and then how involved they get. These puppet shows can be for the adults as much as the younglings.

An English tradition for over 300 years, it is pure slapstick fun. Punch and Judy are joined by all the usual characters - the clown, the crocodile, the policeman and the baby - even the sausages!

We've put them on for weddings, garden parties, a naming ceremony and for a social evening. If there will be a bit of a lull at some point during the proceedings they can provide an excellent distraction whilst the staff and entertainers toil away shifting furniture and equipment. You and your guests can continue to enjoy yourselves whilst logistical stuff goes on discretely in the background.

If you are looking for an excuse to remove all of the 'little darlings' during the speeches at a wedding, this could be your perfect option - they get entertained, and you can have the speeches without distraction.

As well as providing an excellent spot in a larger event, Mr Punch and Ms Judy will be happy to appear for you in their own show, and enjoy having guest 'stars' sometimes joining them. A garden party performance featured cameo turns by Boris Johnson and Sebastian Coe!

Again, as always, our professor is multi-skilled and can also entertain you with music, song and magic - even a one man band, or a one-man medieval banquet!
