All of the venues I've recommended here are ones where the staff and facilities are not just 'adequate', but of a much higher standard.

As someone booking a venue, you probably don't get to see much of what goes on behind the scenes, but please believe me when I say that it makes a big difference.

As performers, we know the venues where staff don't really care, or just simply 'do a job'. Places where cleanliness, health and safety and all the important small but annoying details just get missed, or simply ignored.

Here are some of our favourite venues, ones that not only have a stunning or unusual setting, but where the staff are friendly, competent and relaxed.
